Rachael Cook is a Thetford resident with 3 children currently in the Thetford schools. Rachael has 30 years of experience working with children and young people, including 10 years developing activity programs such as playgroups, community “Free Day”, and helping with the creation of outdoor classrooms at Thetford Elementary during the COVID pandemic.

As Recreation Director, Rachael is excited to bring her passion for bridging social connection, creating family activities and program development to the entire Thetford community, with an eventual goal of adding more programs once she has settled into her new position.

Thetford Recreation has a survey available for anyone who would like to participate.

• The first step in registering for activities is to Create an Account for your household. The information you provide – emergency contacts, medical information, etc. – will be automatically saved so that future registrations are a breeze.

• When you are ready to sign up for classes or programs, review our How to Register for an Activity page.

• Payments by debit or credit card can be made on the MyRec page, or a check or money order can be mailed to the Recreation Department, PO Box 126, Thetford Center VT 05075. Please make checks payable to the Town of Thetford.
