Thetford Planning Commission Agenda (Zoom online – April 5, 2022/7:15 p.m.)

Note: The State of Vermont has recently passed Senate Bill 222 (Act 78), an act relating to authorizing temporary Open Meeting Law procedures in response to COVID-19. Selectboard, Commission and Committee meetings in the Town of Thetford may – until January 15, 2023 – be held ‘virtually’ (online-only) without requiring a designated physical locale staffed by a representative of said group(s). Members of the Commission must self-identify when the meeting convenes and be able to hear and be heard throughout the meeting. Options for remote public participation will be explicitly provided, both online and in specified physical posting locations.

will give you the options to connect via the Zoom application, via your browser or via

phone.

b) Join the meeting using 'audio only'.

c) Avoid sound interference by joining on only one device or phone.

d) If you are participating by phone, call the number above and enter the Meeting ID,

followed by a #, then push # again.

e) Set volume only as loud as needed to hear.

f) Mute audio until invited to speak during the 'Public Comment' portion of the Agenda.

g) The meeting will be recorded, per Act 92 (H.681) requirements.

7. Vermont Residential Energy Code (Suggested Zoning Regulation Language):

In order to strengthen compliance with State law, all new construction that is required to meet RBES under 30 V.S.A § 51, as defined in the RBES, must comply using the “Home Energy Rating Method”, with the exception of Alterations, Repairs, Changes in Space Conditioning, Changes in Use, and factory-built modular homes. For all new construction subject to the HERS requirement, a preliminary HERS rating of 61 or lower from a certified HERS rater shall be a condition for a permit.
